Most Malaysians are no doubt familiar with Habib Jewels. After all, this 60-year-old brand is reputed as one of the top local jewellers in the country. Habib Jewels started out as a small shop in 1958 at Penang’s Pitt Street by the late founder, Datuk Haji Habib Mohamed Abdul Latif. The business eventually progressed into a public listed jeweller, with various outlets across Malaysia and other Asian countries such as Singapore and Hong Kong. They offer a diverse range of jewelry collection regardless of diamonds, pearls and golds. Habib Jewels also housed the Italian-based designer collection of Hearts On Fire, as well as a sole distributor of the Belgium-based luxury watch brand, Ice-Watch.
